Nomads

Nomads. Merzouga Desert, Morocco, 2014

Life in the desert is harsh due to weather conditions and the incessant search for water; It does not require much, because it cannot be accumulated, having to transport it and also store it. The most important thing is the jugs of water, food and kitchen utensils. To take refuge from the extreme conditions of the desert, the nomads make camps with resistant fabrics that protect them from the extreme temperatures or, if they anticipate that they will stay for a long time, they build mud houses that take weeks to be consistent.
